Our Governing body is a representative group made up of parents, staff, local community and Local Authority appointees.
The Governors meet termly as a whole governing body and more frequently in smaller sub-committees.
Please check the School Calendar for upcoming meeting dates. The Governors have responsibility for the strategic direction of the school and its development.
The sub-committees are delegated specific authority, and in return must report their actions and decisions to the full body. The sub-committees are:
- Children and Learning
- Personnel & Welfare
- Resources
The day to day running of the school is the responsibility of the Head Teacher and staff. The governing body has a range of duties and powers and a general responsibility for the general conduct of the school with a view to promoting high standards of educational achievement.
